What You Can Expect During Satyananda Style Yoga Therapy Treatment:
Your first visit will last approximately 1 1/2 hours to assess needs, develop a program and learn practices. After this appointment length may vary. 4-5 sessions ideally over a 4 to 8 week period with a dedicated practice at home are recommended for best results. Most clients report improvements right away!
You do not have to be flexible and thin, nor should you be able to even sit on the floor in order to benefit from Satyananda style yoga therapy. We teach common sense, easy-to-understand and easy-to-do yoga posture sequences, breathing practices, deep relaxation techniques, yoga energy work, various forms of meditation as well as traditional types of whole alimentary canal and other yogic cleansing practices as needed, tailored to your specific needs. Excellent educational materials are also available for your home practice. Little will resemble what you may have experienced as yoga and meditation before and you will be able to feel the difference.
