All trainings are experiential, and MODULAR. One can register and start by taking any one module at any time. We offer one-on-one and small group EXPRESS and self-paced length of study options. Both weekdays and weekend times are available, and we will do our best to accommodate you with a schedule that best fits with your work and life schedule. Our goal is to equip you with the most comprehensive common sense education and skills possible drawing on your strengths and talent. Upon successful completion of study, you will be awarded a Yoga Teacher Certificate. You will thus be able to register with the Yoga Alliance national registry if you choose so. Most importantly you will develop a thorough understanding of Yoga and Meditation, and how to safely teach different populations. We will help you understand the current local and international yoga scene and help you find your niche as a teacher or a yoga therapist. Students not interested in teaching are welcome to "AUDIT" any of the courses. Please, fill out the TEACHER TRAINING APPLICATION and register early to save. Your application and payment must be received at least three business days prior to training starting date.

CERTIFICATION TRAINING INFO      TEACHER TRAINING APPLICATION

A one-time $500 non-refundable deposit reserves your seat in any one of the Certification trainings, and will count toward tuition. If you are not accepted in the program, you will be refunded all moneys minus $125 processing fee per program, unless you have had an interview/practice session in which case your refund will be $250. An in-person interview/practice session is not required for RYT200 applicants (please open the TT application form for details).

Our small group retreats are for total beginners, and pros who would like to experience classical yoga and meditation as a way of life, healing, and growth, and develop and refine their practice in an environment dedicated to peace. The Vivekananda Retreat Center has provided home for our retreats since 1991. It is located on 110 acres of beautiful non-farming land minutes away from Lake Michigan beaches. Lodging (some private and double occupancy rooms with shared bathrooms), vegetarian meals, and six/eight guided group classes are included in the cost. Register early to save. RYT200 and RYT500 teachers earn CE hours with the Yoga Alliance. The retreats also count toward RYT200 and RYT300 Teacher Training Certification through the Ann Arbor Yoga and Meditation School. Cancellation Policy:

Pre-registration online is required at least 24 hours in advance for outdoor, indoor or virtual classes. All sales are final, non-refundable and non-transferable to other persons. No-shows will be treated the same as cancellations. Enrolled students will need to commit to class times. Workshops, retreats and courses are not available as makeup classes. CLASS PACK AND GIFT CERTIFICATE HOLDERS must also commit to class times by contacting us in advance. If a class, workshop, or retreat you have registered for is full or a NO-GO, you will be notified and issued a full refund.
