Yoga Therapy is the application of a wide range of true yoga and meditation practices adapted to one's personal needs to promote health and well-being within a therapeutic relationship that includes assessment, goal setting, lifestyle management, and yoga practice for individuals or small groups. When learned properly from an experienced practitioner, classical yoga and meditation can help manage a wide range of health conditions. Holistic, authentic and comprehensive Satyananda style we teach is the world leading technology in the field. It is safe and therapeutic by design and addresses the whole person physically, mentally, energetically and spiritually. Yoga and meditation as therapy is one of the best and oldest known systems of holistic health management.
For best results, we recommend you seek only an experienced yoga teacher therapist who has lived with and learned from yogis and gurus in a living tradition and lineage of healers, MDs, and published authors in the healing arts and sciences of yoga and meditation. Bihar School of Yoga has been an authority in the field for over six decades.
